About working with me:

My work with clients is relational; I believe that we are shaped by our social world and that experiencing connection, authenticity, and fulfilment in our relationships is essential to our well-being. I seek to contextualize individuals’ concerns within the larger sociocultural systems that influence the way we understand ourselves and those around us. My work is rooted in social justice and I strive to create an affirming and supportive environment for queer and BIPOC folks.

I work collaboratively, drawing from a number of evidence-based approaches to ensure our work meets your individual goals. Some modalities I incorporate include narrative, psychodynamic, existential, and emotion-focused therapies.

I am an associate at Bonney Elliott Psychotherapy and Consulting as well as at Shepherd Psychotherapy.

About me:

I am a white, queer, settler person who uses she/they pronouns. I grew up in Prince Edward Island, and lived in Madrid and Paris before calling Ottawa home. Past career highlights include childcare, Parliament Hill tour guide, HR professional, and cybersecurity consultant. These careers were heavily influenced by building interpersonal relationships, understanding problem narratives and connecting with empathy; ultimately leading me to psychotherapy.

When not wearing my therapist hat, I enjoy taking dance classes, baking, and crafting the perfect playlist.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences (2018) from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (2023) from Yorkville University.
