About working with me:
My work with clients is relational; I believe that experiencing connection, authenticity, and fulfilment in our relationships is essential to our well-being. I see my role as a therapist to be in accompanying you as you reconnect with your inherent ability to heal and thrive. My work is rooted in social justice and I strive to create an affirming and supportive environment for those who identify as queer or BIPOC.
I offer longer-term, evidence-informed, attachment-focused and experiential treatment for individuals and couples who are feeling stuck but have not found CBT-like approaches helpful. Some modalities I incorporate include psychodynamic, emotion-focused (EFT), accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP) and other humanistic therapies.

About me:
I am a white, queer, settler person who uses they/she pronouns. I grew up in Prince Edward Island, and lived in Madrid and Paris before calling Ottawa home. Past career highlights include childcare provider, Parliament Hill tour guide, cybersecurity consultant and HR professional.
When not wearing my therapist hat, you can find me cuddling with my cat Stevie, baking, and crafting the perfect playlist.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences (2018) from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (2023) from Yorkville University.
